CardDrop lets people make a postcard from their own photos, send it free as a digital card, and, if they want, have a real printed copy mailed.
Pick a photo, style it, add a message, then preview it and send. You can send it as a digital card through Messages or Mail for free, or order a printed postcard that we mail to the address you give us.
Accounts that haven't been verified by email have a monthly and lifetime limit on digital sends. Verifying your email removes the limit.
Printed postcards can only be ordered from a verified account. Verify your email in the app, or sign in with Apple, and the option unlocks. We require this so that every mailed card can be traced to a real person.
Delete it from your Sent or Drafts postcards. It is removed from your device, the card's images and replies are removed from our servers, and the shared link stops working immediately.
In the app, open your profile and choose Delete Account. This removes your cards and account data. See our Privacy Policy for what we keep, and for how long, after that.
Accounts are suspended after repeated reports from recipients, or after repeated attempts to add content that our automated checks block, such as photos or harassing text. If you think it was a mistake, tap Appeal This Decision on the Account Suspended screen and tell us what happened. We review appeals and show our decision on that screen. An appeal that isn't reviewed within 30 days is closed, and you can appeal again 30 days after the decision. A repeat suspension may be final, with no appeal. If a suspended account isn't appealed, its data is deleted after about 180 days, though we keep the records we need to stop abuse.
It's a digital postcard. Open the link and the card opens for you to flip, read and reply to. You don't need an account or the app to view it. A card link stays available for at least 90 days, and each time someone opens it, it stays available longer.
Yes, unless the sender does not allow replies. Use the reply and reaction buttons under the card. Your reply goes back to the person who sent it.
A card that nobody opens for a long time eventually expires, and when it is removed its replies and reactions are removed with it. If you send the card again, it works again, but the old replies and reactions don't come back.
Scan the QR code on the card, or open its link, and choose Report abuse. Tick stop all senders mailing this address to block every CardDrop sender from mailing your address. The report also stops that sender from mailing anyone at that address again. We don't ask for your name, email or phone number.
Use Report abuse under the card. We record the report against the sender. Reports on multiple cards can lead to the sender's account being suspended. CardDrop digital cards are sent from the sender's own device (Messages, Mail), so we can't see or block who they send to. You can also block the sender's number or email on your device.
